Impact of Adobe Flash End of Life on Visual Process Flows

It has recently come to our attention that the Visual Process Flows in Sage 300 will stop working after December 31st, 2020 as the underlying technology, Adobe Flash, is reaching End of Life status and will be removed from Windows machines and supported browsers.

Sage has provided a fix in the latest product update for the three currently supported versions, namely versions 2019, 2020 & 2021.  This product update restores the ability to use existing Visual Process flows after the EOL of Adobe Flash at the end of December 2020 and will be followed up with another update due out in April 2021 that will allow the editing of existing, and creation of new Visual Process Flows in a new HTML5 editor.

If you would like the product update installed or are running an older version of Sage 300 and rely on the Visual Process Flows, please contact us soon so that we can review your current setup and provide options.
