British Columbia (B.C.) and Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) are changing the administration of taxes (tax types) charged in their respective Canadian provinces, effective April 1, 2013.
- B.C.: Changing from the Harmonized tax HST to charging both PST and GST.
- P.E.I.: Changing from PST and GST taxation to charging the harmonized HST tax.
These changes may impact companies doing business with those provinces.
